Thunder Bay area for Good Doctors walk-in clinic via Telemedicine. I gained lots of hands-on experience and knowledge, within the Community. I developed a passion for foot care and ear flushing.

When OHIP was no longer covering ear flushing, I felt there was a strong need for this service in and around Thunder Bay. This inspired me to get my

my Advanced and Diabetic Nursing Foot Care Course and with all my ear flushing experience add them together.

I work very closely within Thunder Bay Community; Family Practices, Hearing Centres, Emergency Department they are all aware of my practice and refer as needed. I also am involved with the 55+ Centre, every year volunteering my time by attending their community event.

I’m truly excited to be teaching the Advanced and Diabetic Foot Care Nurse Program because it allows me to share my passion for specialized nursing and empower others to develop advanced clinical skills. This program provides an incredible opportunity to enhance patient outcomes, promote preventative care, and support nurses in expanding their expertise. It combines two things I love – teaching and helping nurses grow in a vital area of care. Supporting others as they gain knowledge and hands-on skills to make a real difference for patients with complex foot care needs is both rewarding and inspiring.
