Meet Becky Smith, RN,
Becky brings over 12 years of primary care nursing experience and has specialized in Advanced Medical Foot Care since 2015. Early in her career, she identified a gap in services and created a subsidized foot care program within a Family Health Team—making essential care accessible to people who couldn’t otherwise afford it.
In 2019, she founded Becky’s Medical Foot Care as a mobile service, travelling across Ottawa to provide expert care in clients’ homes. This past April, she proudly opened a dedicated clinic space, expanding her services to include everything from diabetic and basic foot care to advanced treatments like ingrown toenail bracing.
Becky’s passion for preventative foot health is matched by her dedication to clinical education. She’s committed to equipping the next generation of foot care nurses with the skills, confidence, and knowledge they need to serve Ottawa’s growing needs—helping more people stay mobile, independent, and pain-free.
